I am an Award winning Celebrant, who is relaxed, informal, creative and passionate - designing and delivering joyous, emotive and bespoke Ceremonies, that are filled with love, laughter and memorable moments to treasure - in Bath, Bristol, Somerset and the Cotswolds.
Hello !
I look forward to getting to know you - but in the meantime, here is a bit about 'me' !
I have lived in and around the beautiful and historic City of Bath since I was very young - but I also love being by the sea and am extremely lucky to also have a base on the West Somerset coast at St Audries Bay, overlooking it's beautiful natural waterfall.
I am very down to earth, with a bubbly sense of humour - a country girl at heart - I love nature, walks on the beach, watching films, meeting friends and colleagues for a natter over a coffee, art and interior design - and of course dogs - which are my favourite things in the world !
My husband Cameron is a qualified Dog Trainer & Behaviourist, and we have a wonderful little rescue dog called Betty, who has the sweetest soul in the world. Our son Elliot is 31, and we often look after his dog Ellie too.
Before becoming a Celebrant, in line with Cameron's business - I ran a Doggy Day Care centre from our home, which was fun but chaotic with lots of muddy paw prints to deal with every day !
I love anything Arts & Crafts, and try to do something creative at least once a week - whether that's painting, sketch-booking, or my new found love of Mixed Media. I love learning new skills and have tried most things - including pottery and willow sculpture and once a month I teach a Creative Art Workshop in Somerset, encouraging people to just 'give it a go'.
As well as creating one off pieces with my Art skills, my role as a Celebrant gives me a wonderful outlet for creating one off ceremonies, using my writing skills - as I love to tell your love story !
I've always worked with people and have enjoyed previous jobs in Recruitment, HR and Charity Fundraising - as well as working as a Project Manager which means I'm extremely organised and there’s nothing I can’t turn into a spreadsheet !!
However, becoming a Celebrant has been THE BEST career change of my life as I'm so passionate about what I do - because it's just the most wonderful job in the world !!!
I don't use any automated systems, CRM, or auto responses - I do everything myself and I don't have a 'Frequently Asked Questions' page on my website because I'd rather talk to you about any questions you have.
